I thought you were dead...

Hello, Internets. It's been a while.

I've had quite a busy few months. I've installed a photo gallery that embeds in Drupal (but I think the standalone version is nicer). More photos to come there, but likely at my typical posting pace, which can charitably be described as glacial.

I keep getting NaNoWriMo rumblings. The same half-assed, goofy, derivative idea I've had for the last three years, except that I actually want to start writing it. Or in any case, start outlining it.

I dressed up like Slash for a rock'n'roll party and won best costume; I'll try to add pics of that to the glacial queue. <== Token non-hyperlinked para

I've upgraded to Firefox 3. It rocks. Especially now that Tab Mix Plus has fixed most of the display issues the extension was having (I admit it; I'm a tab junkie). The awesome bar saves me tons of time at work.

I've decided I want to be a Nac Mac Feegle when I grow up. And I desperately need to cure Terry Pratchett's early onset Alzheimer's (sadness!), so he can keep me in my book habit.

I've been enjoying the hell out of various webcomics, in part thanks to the effort of Eric Burns-White's Websnark; he began reviewing various web cartoonists, and I was likely tipped off to his commentary by BoingBoing. I really want to devote a lazy-ass post to what I have in my Google Reader; that will let me talk about various webcomics and what I like about them. A cheap and easy post. But no! This has become a meta-post! The infamy!

Ok, that's it for now. Next time? What is in my Reader.

Welcome back to the living.

I didn't know you wrote. I'd be interested.

I wouldn't say that I write, necessarily. I've failed NaNoWriMo every year since 2003 or 2004. You saw my relatively pathetic attempt last year, I believe; I set up book pages to keep my writings online but private.

I don't recollect seeing book pages.

You even gave me feedback. On the black nav bar, hover over Content management and click on Books; it'll show you my NaNoWriMo attempt.
